Brandi | Bridal Portraits at Forest Oaks - Rettig Co. Photo & Films

We can't even begin to tell you how hard it has been to keep these gorgeous photos a secret! There was a lot of back and forth planning for this session because Brandi had planned to let very few people see her dress prior to the wedding. Specifically, she wanted to do a first look with her girls, and with me being one of her girls, that was problematic. She decided that it would be okay for me to come, and when I first walked into the room after she got dressed, I was speechless. This dress was everything she said she did NOT want. When we went to a bridal show together in the early stages of our wedding planning, I remember liking dresses like this one, and Brandi was a fan of the more sleek and fitted styles. Low and behold, she ended up falling in love with a style she never dreamed up, and it end up being a dream come true! This dress was perfect for her and it was absolutely breathtaking on her! The veil, the earrings, the belt -- it all came together beautifully! The entire time we were taking photos, I told her that she looked like she hopped right out of a magazine! In fact, we can't wait to see her appear in some magazine down the road. Trust me -- it's happening. Not only were the bride and dress perfect, but the venue was as well. We used the mansion, the portico, and the ceremony site at The Inn at Forest Oaks to do her photos. (No Tyler = plenty of time to do as much as we wanted!)

I knew it would be next to impossible to decide on which print(s) to use to display at the wedding reception. Brandi literally sent me a text just like this after we sent her the link to her gallery: "BRITTANY!!! How in the world am I gonna pick?!?! Is it acceptable to have 18 bridal portraits at the reception because that's literally how many I'm considering." Lol! She somehow managed to narrow it down to 2, but man oh man, are we excited to share more than that now!

Brandi, I said you looked so beautiful at your session, but I knew you would look even more beautiful in your wedding day glow -- and I was right. We can't wait to share more wedding images too!

Love you more than you'll ever know!
