Keston and Paul were married on March 30, 2019 at a church in Buena Vista, Virginia. The church was literally packed to the max in more ways than one -- packed with love and packed with family and friends. (Seriously, y'all. The line to sign the guestbook was out the door, and the preacher had to make an announcement requesting that guests slide in as much as possible to make room for others. Flat out packed!) This doesn't come as a surprise though because Paul and Keston are so involved in so many different ways. They coach, teach, take care of many kiddos (all the littles LOVE Kessie!), and are active in their church. They have each made an impact in the lives of so many, and the outpouring of love and support on their wedding day was proof of that.

We will say, over the past several months, we have been able to interact with Keston and Paul quite a bit. From the engagement shoot to Keston's bridal session, and all of the communication in between, there are several moments that stick out to me. BUT, there is one in particular that pulls on every single one of my heart strings. As we were talking about wedding planning at their engagement shoot, Keston mentioned how she wanted to include Paul's two daughters in their ceremony. (Cue tears.) She told us she wanted to have one stand on her side and one stand on Paul's side during the ceremony. (Cue more tears.) After all, the girls literally helped Paul spell out THE question via a game of Hangman. If you haven't read their engagement story,  check it out here. To top if all off, just moments before getting into her dress, Keston helped do the girls' makeup. (Cue all the tears.) If you know me, you know that I am a stepmom myself. While that role is somewhat tricky, always rewarding, and sometimes frustrating, it is the best role ever and comes with so many blessings. Keston has fully embraced her role as a stepmom to two beautiful girls! I know the girls are blessed to have her, and I know she is blessed to have the girls.

In case you've missed one of the million times I've mentioned how perfect Keston and Paul's wedding day was, let me say it one final time. P.E.R.F.E.CT. The love, the weather, the vows, the music, the food, the ceremony, everything was wonderful!

Pastor Adam's first four words of the ceremony were ones we'll never forget, and that line was so good that we feel like we should borrow it to kick off this blog. So...."HEAR YE, HEAR YE!" Welcome to Mr. and Mrs. Pelter's blog!

I know I've said it a million times before, but Keston has such a big heart and is so selfless. I mean, how many brides do their future step-daughters' makeup within an hour or so of the wedding ceremony?! What a special way to include them!

You might remember us sharing how Keston wanted to include her grandmother in her bridal portraits. Keston also had a seat at the ceremony, where her grandmother would've sat if she were still here on earth. A beautiful reminder that she was there every step of the way, and while that seat was there to remind everyone that she was present, we all know she had the most amazing seat from above. I am pretty sure she had a hand in making sure the Lord provided that beautiful weather for their wedding day!

Before heading to the reception, we were able to sneak away with the Bride and the Groom to take some of their formal shots up "up on the hill," per the Bride's request. If you're from BV, you know exactly what I'm talking about. It was beautiful and the most amazing spot for their formals!

When you're a huge fan of cheesecake, it's only right to have cheesecake as your wedding cake! (Keston loves cheesecake so much that she doesn't even mind having it smeared all over her face! How cute is she?!)

It's so much fun to see Rettig Co. pop up throughout a couple's wedding! While she was getting her hair done, we caught Keston looking at the post we put up on wedding day. The second image is of a gift that we gave to Keston and Paul that they decided to use on their gift table at the reception. The third image is an all-time favorite shot from their engagement session.

Keston and Paul, thank you again for allowing us to be a part of your special day! It was 100% perfect from start to finish, and we are so blessed that we were there to celebrate you all and capture the memories! We wish you infinite blessings and a lifetime of happiness!

With all our love,

Brittany & Grant
